Noah Gragson reigns supreme in rain-shortened Kansas Lottery 300

Kansas Lottery 150 postponed, creating stellar Sunday doubleheader at Kansas Speedway

Weather didn’t dampen Noah Gragson’s mood Saturday at Kansas Speedway. He welcomed the precipitation, as the JR Motorsports’ star collected his fifth NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the season in a rain-shortened Kansas Lottery 300.

After a brief caution for weather at lap 82, Gragson charged to the lead in a two-lap shootout to end the decisive second stage. NASCAR red flagged the race after 93 laps, declaring Gragson the winner once the weather set in.

Justin Allgaier finished second, while Ty Gibbs, Brandon Jones and Ross Chastain rounded out the top five.

The weather that caused the early end to Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series action forced the ARCA Menards Series to postpone the Kansas Lottery 150 until Sunday. That race will now begin at 9 a.m., creating an action-packed doubleheader that will culminate in the Hollywood Casino 400 presented by Barstool Sportsbook.

Parking lots will open at 7 a.m. and gates will open at 8 a.m. Following the Kansas Lottery 150, country music superstar Craig Morgan will perform a pre-race concert, and Lee Greenwood will deliver a stirring rendition of “God Bless the U.S.A.”

Then shortly after 2 p.m., the stars of the NASCAR Cup Series will compete in the penultimate race of the opening round of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.
