KANSAS CITY, Kan. (May 23, 2017) – Race fans will again have the opportunity to visit Kansas Speedway twice in 2018 as NASCAR’s three national touring series return to the facility.

In what has become a tradition, Kansas Speedway will once again host May night races on May 11 and 12. On May 11, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns, while the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be in action on May 12. This year’s May weekend saw Martin Truex Jr. win for the first time at Kansas Speedway in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, while Kyle Busch took home the checkered flag in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Kansas Speedway will also be a part of NASCAR’s playoffs in October, with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Hollywood Casino 400 on Oct. 21 and the NASCAR XFINITY Series Kansas Lottery 300 on Oct. 20.

“I’m excited to have Kansas Speedway host two very different NASCAR race weekends again in 2018,” said Kansas Speedway Patrick Warren. “Our May race weekend has provided intense competition and for the past two Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races, drivers who haven’t won at Kansas Speedway finally found their way to Gatorade Victory Lane. For the October race, I’m looking forward to hosting an elimination race for the second round of the playoffs. The in-race drama for the final spots in the third round of the playoffs is definitely going to ratchet the intensity up a notch.”

Ticket information for 2018 season tickets and single tickets will be released at a later date.
