Up and coming country music star Eric Paslay will kick off the Hollywood Casino 400 on Oct. 18 with a pre-race concert.

His current single, “She Don’t Love You,” was named by Rolling Stone as one of the 25 Best Country Songs of 2014. Previously released singles by Paslay, who is currently on tour this summer, include “Song About A Girl” and his debut album’s lead single “Friday Night,” which reached No. 1. He also has a song, “Rain from Heaven,” on the soundtrack for the movie “Best of Me.”

Paslay, may however, be even more known for his songwriting prowess, having written No. 1 singles for Rascal Flatts (Rewind), Love and Theft (Angel Eyes), the Eli Young Band (Even If It Breaks Your Heart) and Jake Owen (Barefoot Blue Jean Night).

The EMI Records Nashville singer-songwriter has been nominated for a GRAMMY, ACM and CMA award for his songwriting on “Even If It Breaks Your Heart.” In the last year, he has appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America, Fox & Friends and The Queen Latifah Show as well as touring with Brantley Gilbert and the Eli Young Band. Currently, Paslay is working on his sophomore album.

Race fans that have pre-race passes will be able to access the Kansas Speedway infield for the Eric Paslay concert and the Hollywood Casino 400 driver introductions. A limited number of pre-race passes for single day ticket holders are currently available for $75 per pass and can be purchased by calling 860.460.7223 or logging onto www.kansasspeedway.com.
