KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Jan. 13, 2015) – Each year the NASCAR Track Services team accepts nominations for Track Services awards from its group of NASCAR Trainers throughout its national series tracks, as well as from the NASCAR Track Services team and this year’s Track Services Innovation Award goes to Jeff Miles with Key Equipment for his initiation of unique ideas that he helps cultivate with the Elgin Sweeper Company.

“Jeff has been an important part of the Kansas Speedway Track Operations Team since we opened in 2001,” said Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren. “He has worked tirelessly with NASCAR to develop unique solutions to complex problems related to track clean-up that, while often not apparent to the fans, have helped make the racing safer and better for the entire industry."

In addition to being a part of Kansas Speedway’s Track Services team, Miles operates the Elgin Sweeper at other tracks throughout the year, including Daytona International Speedway. Miles is also an instructor with the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
