Kansas Speedway and the Community Blood Center have partnered on a week-long blood drive Aug. 5-9 at Community Blood Center locations in Kansas and Missouri.
The first 1500 donors during the blood drive will receive a voucher* that they can redeem for two tickets with Turn 1 Terrace access only for Kansas Speedway’s Aug. 17 GRAND-AM Road Racing events or for two general admission tickets to Oct. 4’s Kansas Lottery 98.9 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race. Both days provide an abundance of racing action for fans.
The Community Blood Center serves over 70 hospitals in Kansas and Missouri, including the University of Kansas Hospital, a Kansas Speedway partner. The Center needs 580 donors each day to meet area hospitals needs and during the summer months, the Center struggles to meet that need.
Community Blood Center locations are in Overland Park and Topeka, Kansas, and in Missouri, they are in Kansas City, Blue Springs, Gladstone and St. Joseph.
*Voucher can be redeemed in advance at Kansas Speedway ticket office only. On Aug. 17, voucher must be redeemed at ticket booth nearest to Gate D. On Oct. 4, voucher must be redeemed at ticket booth at Gate B.
