We are excited that NASCAR is returning to Kansas Speedway July 23-25, 2020. This is an important first step in the resumption of sports in the Kansas City area, and we feel a deep sense of responsibility to play an integral role in that process. Over the course of the three days, NASCAR will run five races across four different series. The originally scheduled May NASCAR Cup Series Kansas 400 will now run on Thursday, July 23 and the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Series race will now take place on Friday, July 24. Additionally, the schedule will consist of a NASCAR Xfinity Series race on July 25, a second NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race on Saturday, July 25 and an ARCA Menards Series race on Friday, July 24. While we are looking forward to five races and lots of on-track action, the situation today requires us to plan our events without fans. However, we continue to work closely with state and local officials to determine if it may be possible to have fans attend our races in July. As the situation evolves, we will immediately share any new information with our customers.
Ticket holders may receive a credit for the full amount of their purchase plus an additional 20% of the total amount paid to apply towards future race events, or a refund, if preferred. For a list of all ticket holder options and additional details, please visit kansasspeedway.com/assistance.
Now more than ever, we appreciate your patience and loyalty as a NASCAR fan. Thank you for being understanding during these challenging times. We will continue to provide any further information as it becomes available.
Please be safe and practice the recommendations from the CDC. We hope to see you at the track soon.
Sincerely,
Pat Warren
President, Kansas Speedway
