MEDIA CREDENTIALS

Please submit media credential requests on company letterhead by U.S. Mail to:

Some media may request access via e-mail. Please contact a Kansas Speedway PR representative to find out if your media outlet qualifies to use this process.

Deadline for credential requests is three weeks before each event weekend. NO EXCEPTIONS. (IRL weekend deadline is April 6, 2007; NASCAR weekend deadline is Sept. 7, 2007.) Separate requests MUST be used for the IRL weekend in July and the NASCAR weekend in October.

Some press may be required to submit tearsheets or other proof of coverage before your credential request will be processed. Newspapers should submit newspaper clippings or copies of past issues; radio stations should submit electronic files or CDs of broadcasts; and TV stations should submit electronic copies of stories on VHS or DVD.

Applying does not guarantee a media outlet will receive credentials. Kansas Speedway reserves the right of final approval for all requests. Assignment editors, sports editors or general managers will receive notification once the request has been processed.

MEDIA WORK AREAS AT KANSAS SPEEDWAY

INFIELD MEDIA CENTER

The infield Media Center at Kansas Speedway seats working print press on deadline.

Separate rooms are used for deadline press, photographers, PR reps and post- and pre-race interviews.

The Media Center and Press Box are both equipped with high-speed and wireless Internet access. Phones are provided, but service is limited to toll-free or local, outgoing calls. (Arrangements can be made should you require unrestricted phone service. Please consult the
PR Department for details.)

Kansas Speedway brings the top-three drivers and the highest-finishing rookie to the infield Media Center following qualifying sessions and races for interviews. Please note winners are NOT taken to the press box.

PRESS BOX

The Press Box is located atop Kansas Speedway's grandstands. The press box is for working print press on deadline only. Proper access must be shown on a speedway credential to gain entry to the press box.

Race winners are NOT taken to the press box for interviews, but media in the press box may ask and listen to questions via a PA feed.

The press box is equipped with high-speed and wireless Internet access.
