Blue Ox Campground Contest winners crowned
Rick and Bee Smith, from Lake of the Ozarks, Mo., and Karen Neuman, from Anoka, Minn., were crowned co-winners for this year’s third annual Blue Ox Campground contest, in which Kansas Speedway campers dressed up their RVs casino-style. The Smiths decorated their RV from headlights to bumper in giant-sized playing cards, poker chips and dice to claim their prize. The Neuman’s themed their RV after the former Oz Casino in Las Vegas. Their RV’s décor included a yellow-brick road, a twister and characters from the Wizard of Oz movie. As winners, the Smiths and Neumans received passes into Kansas Speedway’s Victory Lane, where they were able to witness all the Victory Lane excitement after Jimmie Johnson won the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Camping World RV 400 presented by Coleman. The winners were also featured in a photo with Johnson and Kansas Speedway’s Camping World RV 400 trophy.
