Nicole Addison is at home with being the sole female on a NASCAR team. As part of the Circle Bar Racing pit crew, she will help the No.10 truck compete for a top position at the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway on April 26.

 

Addison started her career in NASCAR by moving from Tucson, Ariz. to Charlotte, N.C. to work for Hendrick Motorsports. After pit crew training and instruction she worked with the 5 OFF 5 ON Race Team Performance, which got her fill-in positions with pit crews. In 2005, she tried out and won a spot on the crew.

 

Addison joins more female drivers, team owners and business women as part of Kansas Speedway’s Women in Racing on Saturday, April 26, which supports Women’s Intersport Network (WIN) for Kansas City. The attending women are from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, IndyCar Series and ARCA. The Women in Racing ticket includes pit tours, autograph sessions and a ticket to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 250.
