Tickets and Ticket Renewals
How do I renew tickets?
If you have purchased tickets through Kansas Speedway, you will receive a renewal notice in the mail.
Will I get the same seats?
Everyone who purchases a season ticket package will have the opportunity to renew the same seats.
How can I purchase additional tickets?

What ticket packages do you offer?
Kansas Speedway offers several ticket packages, including the traditional four race season packages, which continues to offer the best pricing and seat locations. The season package for 2010 will include:
• Indy Racing League IndyCar Series Road Runner Turbo Indy 300 on Saturday, May 1, 2010
• NASCAR Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 on Sunday, May 2, 2010
• NASCAR Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday, October 2, 2010
• NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kansas 400 on Sunday, October 3, 2010
Season tickets start at $170 and include all four races and a Track Pass that allows fans onto the infield for the Sunday race on each race weekend to access the track, Sprint FanWalk, and get close to driver introductions. The rock band Kansas performed for fans before the 2009 Sprint Cup race; planning is underway for the 2010 pre-race activities and will include another concert for fans.
Beginning in 2010, Kansas Speedway will also offer new ticket options, including weekend ticket packages for the fall race weekend that includes both NASCAR Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series events. Weekend packages range start at $165.
In addition to fall weekend packages, single event tickets for both the IndyCar Series Road Runner Turbo 300 and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 are available for the first time in 2010. Individual tickets for these events start at just $49. Please call for information on group tickets for these events.
I am a ticket package holder, but cannot attend all the races at Kansas Speedway. Can I sell my extra tickets?

What happens if I sell my tickets for more than face value?
Kansas Speedway holds the right to revoke all ticket privileges to anyone who resells a ticket to a Kansas Speedway event at greater than face value. The name on the account is responsible for the tickets.
I purchased tickets from someone else. How do I know if they're real?
You don't. Lost, stolen or counterfeit tickets will not be honored at Kansas Speedway. If you buy a ticket from someone other than Kansas Speedway or StubHub, you risk that those tickets are stolen or counterfeit.
I've recently moved. How do I update my account information?
It is very important for ticket holders to keep us notified of their address changes. That's how we keep you updated with speedway news. We also use what's on file to mail your ticket package. Please call the ticket office toll free at 866.460.RACE, or write us at 400 Speedway Blvd., Kansas City, KS 66111 to update your phone and address changes.
Does Kansas Speedway have seats for disabled guests?
Kansas Speedway provides reserved seating for our disabled guests. Please call the ticket office toll free at 866.460.RACE for availability.
Can I bring my child to Kansas Speedway?
Yes! Motorsports and Kansas Speedway are family-oriented, and a lot of families bring their children. Everyone entering through the grandstand gates must have a ticket, regardless of age.
If my child sits on my lap, do they still need a ticket?
Yes. Everyone through Kansas Speedway's grandstand gates must have a ticket, regardless of age.
Gate Policies
Can I bring coolers, food and drinks into the grandstands?
Yes. Kansas Speedway encourages our guests to tailgate in the parking lots, but 6x6x12 inches, soft-sided coolers may also be brought into the grandstands with your favorite food and drinks. Items that may not be brought into our gates include bags larger than 6x6x12 inches (soft-sided), glass containers, umbrellas, folding chairs, strollers, bicycles, wagons, scooters and roller blades.
How many bags may I bring?
Kansas Speedway allows one (1) bag no larger than 6x6x12 inches (soft-sided) per person.
Can I bring my scanner to Kansas Speedway?
Yes. We encourage race fans to bring or rent scanners as another way to enjoy the race. If you bring a scanner in a bag, please make sure the bag is 6x6x12 inches or smaller (soft-sided). If your scanner bag is too big, clip the scanner onto your belt or carry it in without a bag. Guests are allowed to bring one (1) bag no larger than 6x6x12 inches (soft-sided).
What about cameras? Binoculars? Purses?
Cameras, camera bags and purses are allowed, as long as they are no larger than 6x6x12 inches (soft-sided). Remember, only one bag per person is allowed.
How do I know if a bag is 6x6x12 inches?
Kansas Speedway has installed bag checkpoints at every gate, similar to what you see at airports. If your bag is larger than the 6x6x12-inch dimensions and not soft-sided, you'll be asked to take it back to your car. Sorry, but bags may not be left at our gates.
Camping
Do you have camping at Kansas Speedway?
Kansas Speedway guests may camp in three areas around the property - Blue Ox Reserved Infield, the Blue Ox Motor Home Terrace and in the Blue Ox Reserved Campground. Please call the ticket office to check on site availability and guidelines. The ticket office can be reached toll free at 866.460.RACE.
Can I camp in Kansas Speedway's parking lots?
Kansas Speedway does not allow overnight camping in our parking lots. If you would like to stay the night at Kansas Speedway, you may do so in three areas - Blue Ox Reserved Infield, the Blue Ox Motor Home Terrace and in the Blue Ox Reserved Campground.
May I bring my tent to Kansas Speedway?
Kansas Speedway does not allow tent camping anywhere on property. All RVs at Kansas Speedway must be self-contained with running water and a holding tank for wastewater.
When do camping spaces go on sale?
Camping spaces go quickly at Kansas Speedway. Camping renewals will take place on a priority basis with guests from the previous year. If you are interested in camping at Kansas Speedway, please call the speedway's ticket office toll free at 866.460.RACE to get on the waitlist now.
How much does it cost to camp at Kansas Speedway?
Camping in the Blue Ox Kansas Campground is $210 per season. Camping in the infield is $800 and $950 for the season, depending on your space. And camping along the speedway's beautiful Blue Ox Motor Home Terrace is $2,000 for the season. The cost for add-on vehicles is $80.
Hospitality Village and Suites
How do I purchase a pass for the Hospitality Village?
Hospitality Village is an entertainment area for Kansas Speedway's corporate guests. Guests of Hospitality Village are invited by companies entertaining at Kansas Speedway so tickets are not available for purchase by the general public. Please call a speedway Marketing and Sales representative to discuss corporate entertainment options at 913.328.3300.
How do I watch the race from a suite?
Kansas Speedway sells its 68 suites to local, national and international companies. Only invited guests of suite holders may watch the races from the suites. Please call a speedway Marketing and Sales representative to discuss corporate entertainment options at 913.328.3300.
How do I get a pit tour?
Pit Tours are limited to guests of Hospitality Village, the suites and Victory Club.
Pit Passes, Garage Passes and FanWalk
What is Sprint FanWalk?
Sprint FanWalk is an interactive area within Kansas Speedway's infield. FanWalk sits between the four garages used by teams during race weekends. The inspection garages and fueling stations are adjacent to FanWalk and race guests are encouraged to watch inspectors as they look over the cars. Race fans may also hang out in Autograph Alley to try to get their favorite driver's autograph or watch pole award presentations from the main stage. Fans may also take photographs in Gatorade Victory Lane*. Sprint FanWalk tickets are $15 for each day. You must have a grandstand admission ticket or an RV admission, in addition to a FanWalk ticket to gain access to FanWalk.
* Please note that Gatorade Victory Lane may close due to scheduling conflicts.
How do I purchase Sprint FanWalk tickets?
Race fans may purchase Sprint FanWalk tickets by calling the Speedway's ticket office toll free at 866.460.RACE, stopping by the ticket office in person at 400 Speedway Blvd., Kansas City, Kan., or online. Guests may also purchase Sprint FanWalk tickets on race day at the Sprint FanWalk ticket booth adjacent to Hospitality Village on the bluff near Turn One of the speedway. Infield guests may purchase Sprint FanWalk tickets at the Sprint FanWalk gates. A limited number of Sprint FanWalk tickets will be sold each day so race-day purchases are not guaranteed and only available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are NOT available for Sunday races.
You must have a grandstand admission ticket or RV admission to purchase tickets to Sprint FanWalk.
How do I buy a garage pass?
Kansas Speedway does not sell garage passes. Sanctioning bodies such as NASCAR and the IRL control garage access and therefore, Kansas Speedway does not sell garage passes to the general public.
Traffic, Parking and Directions
What's the best way into the race track on race day?
Kansas Speedway has several routes to choose from on race day:
• From Interstate 70 - Take exit I-70 at 110th Street (exit No. 410). You'll be routed to Speedway Boulevard, where parking attendants will direct you to Talladega Drive.
• East of I-435 - Take State Avenue west to the speedway.
• From I-435 - Take Interstate 70 west to 110th Street (exit No. 410).
Follow directions from Kansas law enforcement officers and speedway parking attendants. Stay in your lane, and be alert and aware of cars around you. As lots fill, parking lot gates will be closed and fans will be directed to the next open gate. We recommend race fans leave for the race track early and pay attention to traffic signs, law enforcement officials and parking attendants.
The Kansas Highway Patrol and local authorities might route traffic around the speedway on race day. We suggest staying in your lane and following the guidelines and advice of the authorities. They are doing what they can to make sure traffic moves quickly and safely.
How much does it cost to park at Kansas Speedway?
Parking at Kansas Speedway is always free.
Does Kansas Speedway have preferred parking?
Preferred Parking lots (lots 1-6) are for guests who have purchased two or more Club seats or four or more Sky Tower or Tower seats. Enter the Speedway parking areas as directed, and you'll be routed to a Preferred Lot. Please make sure your Preferred Parking pass is affixed to your windshield and clearly visible to parking attendants. This will help ensure that you are directed to your designated lot correctly.
Does Kansas Speedway have parking for disabled guests?
Yes. Disabled guests may park in our ADA lots. Disabled guests may access the speedway from Phoenix Drive off State Avenue, or from California Drive off Speedway Boulevard. If you miss your road, that's OK. You may enter at the other entrances with the rest of the speedway guests, and you'll be routed to an ADA parking lot. Please make sure your disabled vehicle pass is affixed to your windshield and clearly visible to parking attendants. This will help ensure that you are directed to a designated lot.
Where can I park my motorcycle?
Guests who arrive on motorcycles may park on Watkins Glen Drive, off State Avenue.
How early should I get to the race track on race day?
It's always a good idea to come to Kansas Speedway early on race day. The busiest hours at Kansas Speedway are 8 a.m. to noon on race days. Parking lots open at 6 a.m., so we suggest you come out and spend some time with us in the Display Midway. Grandstand gates open at 8 a.m.
Is it OK to tailgate at Kansas Speedway?
Yes. We encourage our guests to get to the race track early. Parking lots open at 6 a.m., and grandstand gates open at 8 a.m. Tailgating is a good way to pass the time before the grandstand gates open.
Odds and Ends
Where can I find a place to stay when attending an event at Kansas Speedway?
There are many great places to stay while visiting Kansas City, Kan., and the surrounding areas. We don't endorse hotel chains, but we can give you some places to look. Log on to www.kansascitylodging.org for a comprehensive listing of places to stay in the Kansas City area.
Are other events held at Kansas Speedway?
Kansas Speedway tries to hold as many events as possible at the track. Besides events by NASCAR, IRL and ARCA, the track also hosts several community events throughout the year, including walk-a-thons, 5- and 10-K runs and other events, driving schools, Good Guys Custom Car Shows, etc.
Does Kansas Speedway conduct driving schools?
Driving schools at Kansas Speedway are conducted by the Richard Petty Driving Experience, the Racing Experience, Dale Jarrett Racing Adventure, and the Mario Andretti and Jeff Gordon Racing School. For times and class details, please contact each school directly:

I'd like to hold my event at the track. Do you rent the speedway for events?
Kansas Speedway is on 1,200 acres and has several buildings, garages and suites to hold private events so there are many opportunities for entertaining at Kansas Speedway. Call the speedway at 913.328.3300 to discuss entertaining opportunities with a Kansas Speedway event coordinator.
How can I ask Kansas Speedway to make a donation to my organization?
Kansas Speedway supports the new Victory Junction Gang Camp in Kansas City. We ask our fans to join us in supporting the Camp. You may also mail a request on organization letterhead, at least EIGHT weeks prior to your event (no exceptions), to 400 Speedway Blvd., Kansas City, KS 66111.
My club holds monthly meetings. Do representatives from the track ever make presentations to local clubs?
Kansas Speedway employees are always willing to make a business presentation about the track to area clubs and are frequently asked to be featured speakers at rotary, lions and local chambers of commerce meetings.
