Apply to be on our fan council to share your feedback with the Kansas Speedway staff! The fan council is a group of Kansas Speedway guests who meet quarterly to discuss ideas with the full-time staff. Fan council meetings are an open forum where fans can share with us what we're doing well, where we can improve, and ask any questions about policies or procedures here at the track. We select applicants to reflect our diverse fan population, including different types of ticket holders (season, single-race, campers), and the application is open to every fan with a current account.
Fan Council members are selected for a two year period. Meetings do not coincide with race weekends and are held a minimum of four times a year, typically on Wednesday nights from 6 PM – 8 PM. At least one Kansas Speedway staff member from every department is in attendance at every meeting.
Not sure you want to join our awesome group of fans and staff a few times a year? Don't take our word for it. Fan Council Members Jed and Christina Weathers gave us their take on their Fan Council experience, saying, "We urge all fans of NASCAR and Kansas Speedway to apply for a seat on the fan council. This is an amazing opportunity to give back by providing insight, suggestions, feedback as well as be an ambassador for Kansas Speedway. We can tell you firsthand that fan council feedback is heard by the speedway administration and many changes have been implemented as a result. This is also an opportunity to see how NASCAR works behind the scenes. The speedway administration does an outstanding job of explaining why decisions are made concerning the fan experience, ticketing, camping as well as on track competition. Do yourself a favor and join this amazing team."
