Marketing and Public Relations Event Staff
Work with media, sponsors, event staff, and patrons in Kansas Speedway's Credentials Office for upcoming race weekends. Hours are flexible leading up to and directly after race weekend dates; this is a seasonal/ temporary event staff. Marketing and Public Relations Intern
for credit / not paid
Internship assisting Marketing and Public Relations team. Also will include assisting in preparation for race weekend. Will assist with marketing efforts, promotional events and tasks leading up to, and after, race weekend. Email jbrown@kansasspeedway.com or call 913.328.3313.
Event Parking Attendant
Thank you for your interest in working the upcoming race events at Kansas Speedway as a parking attendant. Parking attendants are needed Friday, April 30, Saturday, May 1st, and Sunday, May 2nd. If you are interested in working parking events this year, please call 913.328.5255 and inform us of your availability to reserve your spot as space is limited.
Details/Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Required to work both Saturday and Sunday of the race event.
• Required to attend one orientation to receive the entire Speedway event details (duration approximately 1 hour).
• Pay rate - $8.75/hr
• Report time is 5:30am
• Parking is completed on Saturday and Sunday at approximately 1 hour after the start of the race (finish time depending on race start times).
• Dress code is khaki pants or shorts and a white shirt.
• Dress for the weather – plan to arrive regardless of the weather (rain or shine.)
The application forms are available below or you may complete them at the orientation session. You must bring your identification to the orientation session, and one form of identification must include a picture of you to complete the application process.
