KANSAS CITY, Kan. (April 1, 2014) – In less than 50 days, race fans at Kansas Speedway will have some new menu options to try for Kansas Speedway’s inaugural NASCAR night races, May 9-10.
New items this year include Tachos, which are tater tots covered with chili and cheese; a Shrimp Roll, which has jumbo shrimp mixed with mayo, celery and onions on a New England style roll; and a 50/50 Bacon-infused Cheddar Burger, which is ground beef mixed with ground bacon to form a 50/50 patty topped with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion.
Sausage options this year include, Smoke Cheddar Jalapeno Sausages and Louisiana Red Hot Sausages.
Fans who have their heart set on a hot dog, can try the new Buffalo Dog, a hot dog rolled in buffalo sauce, topped with bleu cheese crumbles and diced celery; or the KC Que Dog, a hot dog topped with pulled pork, fried onion straws and BBQ sauce.
For the fan who can’t decide between a cheeseburger and a hot dog, there is the Cheeseburger Dog – a cheeseburger in the shape of a hot dog on a seeded hot dog bun topped with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles.
Tickets for Kansas Speedway’s 2014 events, including Kansas Speedway’s first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series night race, are currently on sale. Season ticket holders receive a TrackPass for each NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race day that allows access to the infield for the Kansas Army National Guard Pre-Race activities, including the pre-race concert and driver introductions.
Parking is always free at Kansas Speedway and fans can bring in one 14x14x14-inch soft-sided cooler with their favorite food and beverages.
