The Kansas Lottery 98.9 might have just become Alex Bowman’s favorite race. In two starts in the race at Kansas Speedway, the driver is two for two.

And, the new surface suits him just fine.

“It’s a great race track,” said Bowman. “It’s really fun and I think it’s going to be even more fun as the place wears out.”

With the win, Bowman finished fourth in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards final point standings.

Chris Buescher, who finished eighth in the season finale, won his first series championship before he turned 20 years old. Buescher finished second to Bowman in the 2011 Kansas Lottery 98.9.
