Concessions & Suite Supervisors

Lead and oversee operations of assigned concession or suite locations, while adhering to our Non-Negotiables of Hospitality.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise the NPO groups assigned to your locations.
  • Ensure your locations are stocked, clean, neatly organized and all equipment is working properly.
  • Ensure your locations adhere to HACCP guidelines.
  • Perform opening and closing inventories.
  • Experience:
  • Prior food service experience required; preferably in a stadium or arena environment.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk the duration of your entire shift.
  • Ability to lift stock up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold and rain.

These positions are part-time, event based positions.

Cooks

  • Possess knife, grilling, saute and cold prep skills.
  • Ability to follow recipes and directions.
  • Ensure your locations adhere to HACCP guidelines.
  • Needs to be ServSafe Certified.

Experience:

  • Prior food service experience required; preferably in a stadium or arena environment

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift.
  • Ability to perform lifting of stock 40+ lbs.
  • Exposure to a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold and rain.

These positions are part-time, event based positions.

Event Parking Attendant

Event Parking Attendant

Thank you for your interest in working the upcoming race events at Kansas Speedway as a parking attendant.  Parking attendants are needed for the upcoming race weekend May 11 and 12, 2018.
Details/Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Required to work Saturday of the race event.  
• Required to attend one orientation session to receive the entire Speedway event details (duration approximately 1 hour).  
• Pay rate - $9.00/hr.
• Report time is 8:30am, 12:00pm or 3pm on Friday and 10:30am Saturday.
• Parking is completed at approximately 1 hour after the start of the race (finish time depending on race start times).  
• Dress code is khaki pants or shorts and a white shirt.  
• Dress for the weather – arrive regardless of the weather (rain or shine).

Please download and fill out the employment forms here or you may complete them at the orientation session.  You must bring your identification to the orientation session, and one form of identification must include a picture of you to complete the application process.  Please see the I-9 Form instructions for a list acceptable identification documents.  All of the application forms must be completed.

The orientation sessions for new staff are scheduled for Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 9:00am or Tuesday, May 2, 2018 at 6:00pm at Kansas Speedway.  You must attend one of the orientation sessions to be eligible to work.  However, attendance does not guarantee employment.

The Kansas Speedway Corporation is currently recruiting talented individuals to deliver “The Best Guest Experience in Motorsports” during our race events.  Ideal candidates will be energetic, engaging, passionate, personable, proactive, and welcoming. As a member of the Kansas Speedway Event Staff, you create valuable and exciting experiences for everyone at Kansas Speedway.

All positions will be responsible for:
Delivering best-in-class guest service through the Kansas Speedway Corporation service brand, "The Best Guest Experience in Motorsports"
Resolving guest concerns and special requests within the framework provided via the handbook and training, while upholding the Fan Code of Conduct
Using knowledge of Kansas Speedway and NASCAR history, engage fans and guests to deliver exceptional service
Performing additional responsibilities as needed and as directed by supervisory personnel

Security/Guest Services open positions include:
Security: Deliver a best-in-class experience by ensuring the safety of all guests to verify no prohibited items are allowed into Kansas Speedway. Securing the campgrounds and parking lot area(s) as well as monitoring crowd(s) and guest(s) to ensure the safety of all and report any suspect behavior.
Guest Services:  Deliver a best-in-class experience by transporting fans in need of assistance throughout Kansas Speedway via golf cart and/or Greeting and answering questions about Kansas Speedway.
