Can I bring coolers, food and drinks into the grandstands?
Yes. You may bring one cooler per person. Food and drink are permitted in our grandstands in soft-sided coolers no larger than 14x14x14-inches.  Telescoping handles on a cooler are OK if they fit within the 14x14x14 allowed dimensions. The hard plastic lining in your soft-sided cooler does NOT need to be removed. Glass is NOT allowed.

Can I smoke on Kansas Speedway property?
There is no smoking in the Grandstands or infield stands (on GRAND-AM weekend) at Kansas Speedway. There will be designated smoking areas under the grandstands on NASCAR weekend.

How many bags may I bring?
Kansas Speedway allows one (1) bag no larger than a lightweight daypack or backpack (similar to what a school student uses) and one (1) soft-sided cooler no larger than 14x14x14-inches.

Can I bring my scanner to Kansas Speedway?
Yes. We encourage race fans to bring or rent scanners as another way to enjoy the race. If you bring a scanner in a bag, please make sure the bag is soft-sided and is no larger than a daypack or backpack. If your scanner bag is too big, clip the scanner onto your belt or carry it in without a bag.

    What about cameras? Binoculars? Purses?
Cameras, camera bags, binoculars and purses are allowed, as long as they meet the above requirements.

    Why only soft sided coolers?
One 14" x 14" x 14" soft-sided cooler is allowed per person.  Soft-sided because it is easier to fit directly under your seat and is more comfortable for others to walk around in the grandstand.

    Why no metal stadium seats?
Metal stadium seats are not good for our aluminum grandstands. To eliminate the possibility of scratches and damages to our seats we only allow soft stadium seats. All seats at Kansas Speedway have a back.

What's the best way into the race track on race day?

Kansas Speedway has several routes to choose from on race day:

    • From Interstate 70 - Take exit I-70 at 110th Street (exit 410). You'll be routed to Speedway Boulevard, where parking attendants will direct you to Talladega Drive.
    • East of I-435 - Take State Avenue west to the speedway.
    • From I-435 - Take Interstate 70 west to 110th Street (Exit 410)

When traveling to the Speedway via I-435 expect delays.  Once the State Avenue exit begins to back up traffic officials will close that exit.  We recommend you travel to the Parallel Parkway exit.  Take Parallel Parkway to 110th St. and take a Left (near Target and JCPenny's).  You will then be led back to State Avenue where you will be directed to our parking lots.

Please Note: Due to the volume of vehicles arriving at the Speedway on raceday, expect delays.

    • Please use all available lanes on State Avenue when arriving...we will direct you to the parking lots!
    • Entry gates on State Avenue will close from East to West when lots fill during inbound traffic.
    • Do not park south of Speedway Blvd...Crossing four lanes of traffic is dangerous and delays traffic flow.
    • If you park in the Legends shopping area you will not be able to cross State Avenue until traffic is clear.  For this reason it is reccommended that you park in our parking lots.

For up to date traffic information on raceday be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter!

Does Kansas Speedway have parking for disabled guests?
Yes. Disabled guests may park in our ADA lots. Disabled guests may access the speedway from Phoenix Drive off State Avenue, or from California Drive off Speedway Boulevard. If you miss your road, that's OK. You may enter at the other entrances with the rest of the speedway guests, and you'll be routed to an ADA parking lot.
